Over 30 organizations participated in a group letter on older adult falls funding to secure Senate support for FY21 funding increases. The letter sent to House and Senate leadership asks that this funding be part of the next COVID-19 relief package.

The organizations are requesting that the next Congressional coronavirus relief package include a minimum of $10 million for the Administration for Community Living (ACL) engagement of the aging services network to implement and sustain evidence-based falls prevention programs and $4 million for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) National Center for Injury Prevention and Control programming and research to prevent older adult falls.  Click here to read the letter.

Please feel free to share the letter with any Hill staff you have contacts with as well as your networks and encourage others to share it as well.
