In a recent Facilities Safety Management magazine article , David Michaels, PhD., notes that many OSHA standards are outdated, therefore complying with them does not necessarily mean a facility is safe.

 

He said that OSHA will continue to penalize unsafe work places that fail to recognize voluntary standards and current best practice for facilities safety.
