A. Dynamic Coefficient of Friction: For tile installed on walkway surfaces, provide products with the following values as determined by testing identical products per ANSI B101.3:
a. Level Surfaces: Minimum 0.42 (Wet).
b. Step Treads: Minimum 0.42 (Wet).
c. Ramp Surfaces: Minimum 0.60 (Wet).
B. Static Coefficient of Friction: For tile installed on walkway surfaces, provide products with the following values as determined by testing identical products per ANSI B101.1:
a. Level Surfaces: Minimum 0.60 (Wet).
b. Step Treads: Minimum 0.60 (Wet).
c. Ramp Surfaces: Minimum 0.80 (Wet).
1.5 ACTION SUBMITTALS
A. Product Data: For each type of product indicated.
B. Test Results: Submit test results in accordance with the test methods specified performed by a certified testing laboratory for each material specified.
